The Sabbath Rest Can Rocket Your Family To New Heights

The Sabbath rest contains some super-charged keys to get above the circumstances of life. Rediscover its vital role in seeing your family arrive at its full destiny. Make good use of the following 6 Sabbath principles.

1) God’sTruths Are Eternal

You can’t really expect to still obtain God’s full blessings and despise the 4th Commandment. And please don’t fall for the trap of believing that the Old Testament has no worth to Christians now since God’s law is cancelled under the New Covenant. While it is factual that the Bible says we are no longer confined by the law, but are to live by faith in Jesus Christ, that doesn’t mean there are no penalties for violating God’s law.

2) T-Minus Ten Seconds?

This next saying will provide for you a unmistakable look at the condition of your heart. Your relationship to the Lord is just how you desire it to be.  Ow! You’ll be on a supersonic flight to intimacy with your Savior by faithfully keeping the Sabbath. Take time to really honor the Sabbath, and your family’s closeness with the Lord will start to improve. To do that though, you must R-E-S-T from YOUR work.

3) He Is True To His Promises

The Bible is filled with powerful promise. One fantastic promise makes an obvious association between the Sabbath rest and being brought up to new places of grace and success IN THIS EARTH. Yes, here and now. Check out Isaiah 58:13-14 carefully to see what I am talking about.

4) Pick The Best Portion

All of us have a destiny set aside for us by God. It may be selfish or it may even be ministering to others. We still require a weekly rest from our work and bring ourselves to Jesus’ feet. That’s what Martha’s famous sister, Mary, chose to do. It is very important that we set aside this time for our family to bless Yahweh. In blessing Him this way, we position our families to receive the Lord’s rich grace and favor.

5) The Sabbath Rest Celebration

So how have you been making the Sabbath out of the ordinary? Is it just a chance to put a dent in your mountain of laundry or tackle that latest yard project? Or is it a time when your family remembers God’s working in your lives? Name your Sabbaths a “delight”, and your family will insure that this day brings honor to the Lord. Let it be the HIGHPOINT of the week.

6) Position Your Family For His Abundant Grace

Our devoted Father gave the Sabbath mandate as a present to His sons and daughters, not a burden to make us miserable. When we honor Him by resting from our labor, we are recognizing God as our one and only source. Get prepared for “exceedingly abundantly above” things to come to pass when your family takes these steps. Stop running in the rat race the world has fashioned for you to stay on. The Sabbath observance isn’t some outdated ritual to be forgotten.

It’s time to start your journey to God’s awesome Sabbath blessings. Giving the Sabbath rest a central position in your family once again honors God. Scripture promises that honor will be returned to you. It has been an exciting adventure for our family learning about God’s calendar. Jewish Feasts – 7 Life Changing Reasons For Christians to Celebrate

3 Minutes Will Change Your Family Forever!

The Jewish feasts are like treasure ready to be discovered. Celebrating them opens the door to changing your family’s life forever. They actually are an extension of the life-giving power of Jesus. Let’s take a look at the 7 reasons you will want to make them a permanent part of your life.

1) Celebrating the Feasts Releases God’s Power-

Awesome displays of God’s miracles in the early Church were common UNTIL the middle of the 4th century. They began to disappear when the Roman emperor Constantine discouraged any connection between the Church and observing the Jewish feasts at the Council of Nicaea in 325AD. I am suggesting there is a strong relationship between celebrating the feasts and experiencing God’s miraculous power in your life.

2) Using God’s Calendar-

I think almost all Christians would agree that God is the author of time. So why would the concept of God having His own calendar be so strange? He revealed this calendar to the Jewish people, but it’s available to you and me. We operate on what is called the Roman calendar. Hidden in God’s calendar are many opportunities for us to experience the fullness of His blessings. Is it time for you to make room for the Hebrew calendar?

3) Start Strong Every Time-

A strong start is vital to our success in life. We see this in building a strong foundation for our houses. We see it in how we plan any new project. God recognized our need for strong beginnings by giving us 13 chances each year to get our lives on track and KEEP them there. These are called the Firstfruits Celebrations. Through them, you can tap into a new ability to start strong and rise to the top.

4) You Are Meant To Be an Overcomer-

Are you overcoming the obstacles you face in life on a regular basis? This may surprise you, but Scripture is full of encouragements for us to walk in the power of God. We are called “overcomers”, “conquerors”, and “dominion-takers.” Get ready to see God’s life-changing power operating in your family as you do 1 simple thing. Follow the Lord’s instruction of keeping the Sabbath day holy.

5) Make Family a Priority Again-

Celebrating the Jewish feasts is an exciting way to bring your family together and prepare them for the challenges of life. Today’s culture is dividing and weakening our families. The average parent spends 10 minutes of quality time with their children each day. These feasting times are full of chances to create fun family memories. Families need to learn

how to become teams again and have fun doing it. Your family, not the public school system, is the springboard for your children to launch off into a successful lives.

6) Celebrate Much More With Great Food-

If anyone has something to celebrate about, it should be Christians. Can others see the celebration going on in your life? With all the negative stuff going on around us, more family parties are needed. And what’s a great party without delicious food? There are many delicious Jewish meals for you to enjoy.

7) What Would Jesus Do?

You’ve heard the powerful question in Church circles – What Would Jesus Do? You may have even worn a WWJD bracelet. Well, would Jesus celebrate the Jewish feasts? Just look at the Gospel accounts and you can see that He did. The better we are at imitating Jesus, the more successful and joyful we will be in life.

Our family has been celebrating the Jewish feasts for years now. It has been an exciting adventure for us. Come join us with our FREE mini-course on celebrating the Biblical feasts.  See you there.

Keep The Sabbath Or Ignore It

3 Minutes Will Change Your Family Forever!

What happens if someone decides to keep the Sabbath?

The simple answer is that it will release blessings into your life, especially your business endeavors. It’s a rather simple concept.

It wasn’ that long ago, maybe 35 years, when businesses started to ignore observing the Sabbath. Or should I say business owners.

God is not against us having wealth. He is against wealth having us in its grips. He knows the result of this situation – ultimate ruin.

God instructed us to keep the Sabbath as a way to imitate Him, follow in His footsteps. Is that such a horrible thing?

Here’s a no-brainer folks – REST. We were created with a need for rest. When we ignore that need, when we ignore God, we will suffer the consequences. Your health, your family, and your pocket book may suffer. That is not God’s will for us.

What we do with our times of relaxation says a lot about us. It reflects what our priorities are, what we value. So, what’s really important to you?

The seventh day Sabbath is not complicated. The Jewish people were instructed to observe the Sabbath on a Saturday, every 7 days. Almost all Christians recognize Sunday’s as the Sabbath. Is it more than just going to a church service to you, though? We hope not. We encourage you to rediscover the power that can be released into your life as you keep the Sabbath.

Pleas forgive if we don’t stop here. There is also something called the Sabbath year. You guessed it. God introduced the coolest vacation idea in resting every 7 th year from your labors. We bet this one just blows you away.

What does all this have to do with?  It has to do with effective time management. People and companies spend lots of money on courses to teach them how to manage their time.

Our message here doesn’t cost you a dime, but just a little time.  Christians have no excuse when it comes to time to time management. We’re not saying we never complain about not having enough time.

We ‘re just saying that the Christian time management concepts above, will set you on a new path to success if you begin to put them into practice.

To get started, pick just one new way you can keep the Sabbath and ask the Lord to bless your efforts to honor Him. And expect His blessings to come!

Then we are able to become the blessing we were called to be and change this world for the better.

The best way to do this is as a family, not as individuals. The family is the building block of society and the building block of the Church.
