Are We Believers?

truebelieversMark 9:23 And Jesus said, [You say to Me], If You can do anything? [Why,] all things can be (are possible) to him who believes!

We call ourselves “Believers”, but do our actions show others that is who we are?

Yesterday, I woke up at about 3:00 a.m., and couldn’t go back to sleep. I had been blessed with watching 2 of my precious grandchildren for a week, and I really needed some sleep:)

It was as if the Lord was prodding me with questions, and I continued with more questions for myself. Am I really a “BELIEVER”? I think I have faith for anything, but what am I truly believing?

If with God all things are possible, am I always believing for the impossible?

Why are my sheep mostly believing the worst is ahead for the United States? Did My Son die in vain? Can I not turn the heart of the King? Did not Israel get the King they wanted which was not in My heart?

Does anyone really believe every jot and tittle of My Word? If I say it, can I not do it? Numbers 23:19 “God is not a man, that He should tell or act a lie, neither the son of man, that He should feel repentance or compunction [for what He has promised]. Has He said and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken and shall He not make it good?

If these are the signs which follow those who believe, Mark 16:17 “And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages;18 They will pick up serpents; and [even] if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will get well.” Am I really a believer?

Aren’t we supposed to be doing the works Jesus did and even greater? John 14:12 “I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father.13 And I will do [I Myself will grant] whatever you ask in My Name [as [a]presenting all that I Am], so that the Father may be glorifiedand extolled in (through) the Son.14 [Yes] I will grant [I Myself will do for you] whatever you shall ask in My Name [as [b]presenting all that I Am].”

Wasn’t it in Nazareth that no miracles occurred because of unbelief? Matthew 13: 54 “And coming to His own country [Nazareth], He taught in their synagogue so that they were amazed with bewildered wonder, and said, Where did this [Man get this wisdom and these miraculous powers? 55 Is not this the carpenter’s Son? Is not His mother called Mary? And are not His brothers James and Joseph and Simon and Judas? 56 And do not all His sisters live here among us? Where then did this Man get all this?57 And they took offense at Him [they were repelled and hindered from acknowledging His authority, and caused to stumble]. But Jesus said to them, A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house.58 And He did not do many works of power there, because of their unbelief (their lack of faith in the divine mission of Jesus)”

Are we really Believers, or mostly doubters? Do we believe the enemy’s lies more than Our Heavenly Father’s paid in full promises– Jesus, His Word become flesh?

With all my heart I do believe there is nothing too difficult for Our God! I really believe Jesus paid in full, not only for my sin, but for an abundantly life, and days of heaven on earth. I believe by His wounds we are healed! I believe His shalom is ours, our children s and bloodline’s, and it is ours to give.” Shalom means completeness, wholeness, health, peace, welfare, safety soundness, tranquility, prosperity, perfectness, fullness, rest, harmony, the absence of agitation or discord. Shalom comes from the root verb shalom meaning to be complete, perfect and full. In modern Hebrew the obviously related word Shelem means to pay for, and Shulam means to be fully paid.

This is the Hebrew month of AV (God’s calendar) when the Israelites could have entered the promised land, but instead let unbelief and fear of giants postpone their blessings. This cycle has continued in Israel. Especially, in this month may we do all that is required to rise up in faith like an army with banners! (Thank you, Glory of Zion!)

Forgive us Father!, To the best of my ability, I do believe (believe, put in trust with. From pistis; to have faith (in, upon, or with respect to, a person or thing), i.e. Credit; by implication, to entrust (especially one’s spiritual well-being to Christ) — believe(-r), commit (to trust), put in trust with.) You and Your forever settled in heaven Holy Word! May my mind, my will, and my emotions always align with this truth! You will find faith on the earth when you return! The Body of Christ will rise up in faith and please you. All things are possible with you! I refuse to allow one thought that tries to think otherwise. May your glorious bride rise up in faith and totally please you every second! In Your precious Son’s name, I pray!
