Devotional Av 9, 5780 – 7 Day Praise Focus, Day 7

The following devotional entry will be the last one based on Glory of Zion’s 7 Day Praise Focus which was released towards the end of Av last year and addressed a prophetic word given related to “removing all offenses”.

Our prayer is that these following entries will help us to” develop a disciplined life of praise so the Lord enthrones Himself in our midst”.

DAY 7 (AM): Read Isaiah 12. Numbers 21:10-18. “Praise breaks open your wells of salvation. Praise is the cure for dryness. Receive a renewed spirit!”

There is a well of “life” in each of us that is ready to gush forth the glory and grace and authority and anointing of our Savior. Our Praise keeps that well primed.

DAY 7 (PM): Read Jeremiah 42:7. The Word of the Lord comes to us. Expect it. “Declare that new revelation, strategy and plans for your future are being released from the throne room of Yeshua. Praise Him in advance for these manifestations”.

We need divine direction every day. Without it, we are operating as mere men and women. Why would we settle for this when we have the boundless wisdom of the Lord available to us. Praise Him and be ready to receive.

Devotional Av 8, 5780 – 7 Day Praise Focus, Day 6

The following 2 devotional entries will be based on Glory of Zion’s 7 Day Praise Focus which was released towards the end of Av last year and addressed a prophetic word given related to “removing all offenses”.

Our prayer is that these following entries will help us to” develop a disciplined life of praise so the Lord enthrones Himself in our midst”.

DAY 6: Read Psalm 9. Be willing to share with others how the Lord has touched and changed our lives and made Himself known to us. Declare it is time to break out of any insecurity and into boldness.

We love to share god news with people, hopefully more than the bad news. The times and the ways that Yeshua has touched our lives can be a great encouragement and a message of hope to others.

Be prepared to share a story of how Christ brought restoration or healing or provision.

Devotional Av 7, 5780 – 7 Day Praise Focus, Day 5

The following 3 devotional entries will be based on Glory of Zion’s 7 Day Praise Focus which was released towards the end of Av last year and addressed a prophetic word given related to “removing all offenses”.

Our prayer is that these following entries will help us to” develop a disciplined life of praise so the Lord enthrones Himself in our midst”.

DAY 5: Read Acts 16:16-34. Praise Yahweh our Deliverer and watch our prison doors open. “Watch salvation come to those around us who are imprisoned”.

The Great I Am delivered the Israelites out of their bondage in Egypt. The praise of Paul and Silas miraculously opened their prison doors and loosed their chains, which also served as a testimony to the others prisoners and the warden. We have been delivered out of the hand of the enemy and our bondage through the blood of Yeshua.

We have so much to be thankful for. We do not have to be at the mercy of our enemy. We are free! Praise the Lord!

Devotional Av 6, 5780 – 7 Day Praise Focus, Day 4

The following 4 devotional entries will be based on Glory of Zion’s 7 Day Praise Focus which was released towards the end of Av last year and addressed a prophetic word given related to “removing all offenses”.

Our prayer is that these following entries will help us to” develop a disciplined life of praise so the Lord enthrones Himself in our midst”.

Read Philippians 4. Let us give thanks and Praise to our Creator for the ability to establish our minds on Him and giving us access to His thoughts. Are our thoughts lining up with His? “Declare that you will capture each thought you have that is contrary to God’s judgment”.

Too many of us fall prey to the lie that we can’t dictate the direction our minds take. We we find that we are engaged in stinking thinking, we have the ability to do something about it.

The effort we have to make is developing the discipline to redirect our thoughts to those things that are true and just and holy, etc. The thoughts we choose to focus on have a huge impact on our lives, and that is why we must allow the cleansing and conforming work of His Holy Word to operate in our minds daily.

Devotional Av 5, 5780 – 7 Day Praise Focus, Day 3

The following 5 devotional entries will be based on Glory of Zion’s 7 Day Praise Focus which was released towards the end of Av last year and addressed a prophetic word given related to “removing all offenses”.

Our prayer is that these following entries will help us to” develop a disciplined life of praise so the Lord enthrones Himself in our midst”.

DAY 3 (AM): Read Psalm 34. Give glorious Praise to the Lord  because He has made His ministering angels to be available to us. Verse 7 says: “The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them.”

We are not going to say that we even halfway understand the working of God’s angelic host, but let’s just enjoy this much needed assistance and do our best to speak life and truth from His Word and activate that angelic host assigned to us.

DAY 3 (PM): Read Psalm 85. Praise Yahweh, who has a place for us to be established in and restores favor to our land. Let’s continue to press forward throughout this month of Av.

Verse 1 says: “Lord, You have been favorable to Your land, You have brought back the captivity of Jacob.”  What is this talking about?

Since the Lord set the boundaries for the land for His people Israel to live in, there was a holy favor that He had extended to that land. Through their disobedience and rebellion, the people had brought reproach on the land of Israel and they lost the Lord’s favor and were taken captive by foreign lands. His favor and delight with His people and the land were being restored.

Do we have a land today? Sure we do. Our land is the area we are connected with, such as our home or property we own, our community, our city, our state, the nation we live in, and even the land of our heritage if we have moved internationally.

We have a responsibility to this “land” to invite Yahweh’s favor, to see His grace operating there, and to see His shalom ruling there.

Some may also say that this additionally is referring to the “land” of our bodies, which are temples of the Holy Spirit. (1 Cor. 6:19) Let the Holy Spirit direct in this time of praise as we His favor upon our land.

Devotional Av 4, 5780 – 7 Day Praise Focus, Day 2

The following 6 devotional entries will be based on Glory of Zion’s 7 Day Praise Focus which was released towards the end of Av last year and addressed a prophetic word given related to “removing all offenses”.

Our prayer is that these following entries will help us to” develop a disciplined life of praise so the Lord enthrones Himself in our midst”.

Read Joshua 5 & 6. Praise Yahweh, the Author and Director of our victories and our destinies! Ask the Lord for the strategy of worship that will help us overcome those things that have hindered us or stopped us from advancing into those promises He has spoken to us and those places and gifts He has called us to walk in.

Devotional Av 3, 5780 – 7 Day Praise Focus, Day 1

The next 7 devotional entries will be based on Glory of Zion’s 7 Day Praise Focus which was released towards the end of Av last year and addressed a prophetic word given related to “removing all offenses”.

Our prayer is that these following entries will help us to” develop a disciplined life of praise so the Lord enthrones Himself in our midst”.

DAY 1 (AM): Read Psalm 130; Rev. 2:10.

Let’s praise Yeshua, our Redeemer,  for removing our past failures and extending His abundant grace and forgiveness to us. We can stand boldly in His Presence and joyfully embrace a new outpouring of His grace. Declare that  Hope arises in a new way new. Allow the the comfort  and confident assurance of Christ’s resurrection anointing rest upon you, and “command all fear to leave”.

DAY 1 (PM): Read Psalms 131 – 134.

Lift up thankful Praise to Yahweh  and let His perfect peace surround and fill you. Stop trying to figure everything out and decree that New trust is arising. Embrace the faithful love of your Abba. “As a weaned child rests against his mother’s breast, declare that your soul is a weaned child within you”, and moving towards a new place of maturity.

We cannot enjoy the fullness of Yah’s shalom until we have placed  our enemies under our feet. Rise above the reach of those enemies and come boldly to His throne of grace.(Heb.4:16) Usher in the  presence of the LORD with Praise and worship. “Receive a new anointing, like the oil poured on Aaron’s head, flowing down the hem of his robe”.

As the Holy Spirit leads, praise the Lord seven times today. (Ps. 119:164)

Devotional Av 2, 5780 – Giving Praise to Our Abba Father 7 Times A Day

We gave our life to Christ and submitted to His Kingship. Christianity began with our Heavenly Abba’s love for us, then our love for His Son, which leads to our love for our Father and His Holy Spirit, then a holy love for ourselves, and finally a Godly love for others. All this love occurs in the framework of relationships, which means our active engagement and commitment and submission.(Eph, 5:21 – “submitting to one another in the worship and awe of God.”)

This submission – giving honoring – to one another includes our relationship with prophets as we decide to lay hold of the promise found in Matt. 10:41 – “He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward.” There was a recent prophetic word given at Glory of Zion Int. in Corinth, TX at the beginning of August, 2019 or Av, 5779. Ha-ha.

It basically is this: If a remnant of My people will commit to My Word for 3 years found in Ps. 119:164, which says – ” 7 times a day I praise You, because of Your righteous ways”, I will remove the reproach from this land(USA).

There are 2 issues here. The first is that some may say that smacks of legalism. The other issue is the validity of a prophetic word given.

Legalism is replacing love and relationship with rules in order to gain favor or recognition. Someone may come across this passage in Psalms and respond by saying,” I have found the secret to loving God – we all need to praise God 7 times a day.” Their walk with Yah is dominated by this rule and they will follow it no matter what, and if they only hit 5 or 6 times, they have messed up big time.

Or someone reads this passage, and they are drawn to it and the value of how it could draw them into a deeper relationship with the Lord. They use it as a guideline to draw into closer intimacy and sharing with the Lord. If they don’t make it to 7, they are just looking forward to the next time.

And from a prophetic standpoint, this is a mighty bold word to be released. The history and motivation of the prophetic office from where a word comes from is important. Our relationship with Glory of Zion Int has been going on for over 15 years, and the prophetic accuracy and the heart of this body of Believers have been on target and devoted to seeking first the Kingdom of God without fail.

We can only say that we whole-heartedly receive this prophetic instruction by faith and with expectation to see America advance into all the Lord has destined it for. We invite you to consider this word and see if it is worth your commitment.

The next 7 posts will be a prayer watch that has been provided by Chuck Pierce, the apostolic and prophetic leader of Glory of Zion Int.

Devotional Av 1, 5780 – Christianity Is All About A Relationship 7 Times A Day

There is something about human nature that wants to turn everything into rules and regulations. You can only do this and you can’t do that. Maybe we just want things neatly spelled out for us. But we do a great disservice to ourselves, to Christianity, and to those around us when we limit our relationship to Yeshua to a bunch of rules.

Relationships are typically messy and they are constantly changing and are consistently challenging. When we came into a covenant relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we stepped into the most amazing and uplifting and life-transforming relationship we will ever have.

Any true relationship involves closeness and letting our guard down. These things cannot happen in our pursuit of Yeshua unless we are devoting our time, our energy, and our hearts to seeking Him and loving Him. That is why it is so important that we carve out a part of each day to give of ourselves to Him exclusively. We call it a “quiet time” or Word time or worship time, which occurs 7 times a day. What?! Hold on, we just wanted to make sure you were paying attention.

We will get to the 7 times a day very soon.

Our quiet time is to be a dynamic time that will change and grow to suit our ever-deepening relationship with Yahweh, Yeshua, and Holy Spirit. As we do this, we increase our capacity to become more like Yeshua and better reflect His glory as His ambassadors. Christ’s life on this earth was full of service, giving, restoring, love, and faith. His life was a perfect expression of our Father’s relationship with us, as He became that bridge of reconciliation for us to walk on to be in the presence of our Most Holy Yahweh.

A movie called FireProof came out years ago by the Kendrick Brothers. A young man’s marriage is crumbling and his father gives a him a tool called the Love Dare to use to fight for his marriage. As he follows the steps in the Love Dare, he comes to end of himself and commits his whole heart to the Lordship of Christ. He realizes that that he had no clue what love really was until he experienced the love of Yeshua. It was only then that he was able to begin to truly love his wife and she saw a genuine difference. There marriage is restored.

As this man became a born gain child of Yah, his relationship with Yeshua changed his life and he began to see things clearly for the first time. He stepped into the true love of His Father and an intimate relationship with His Creator. He was now able to share the love of Christ everywhere he went.  He had so much more to freely give.

We have now finished the groundwork for what we really want to share – what 7 times a day has to do with our relationship with our Lord. Before we do that, spend some time letting all this soak into your spirit, soul, and body.
