Live By Faith
Galatians 3:11 “But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident; for, the just shall live by faith.”
Psalm 78:18-25 “And they tested God in their heart by asking for the food of their fancy. Yes, they spoke against God: They said, “Can God prepare a table in the wilderness? Behold, He struck the rock, So that the waters gushed out, And the streams overflowed.
Can He give bread also? Can He provide meat for His people?
Therefore the Lord heard and was furious. So a fire was kindled against Jacob, and anger also came up against Israel, because they did not believe in God, And did not trust in His salvation. Yet He had commanded the clouds above and opened the doors of heaven, had rained down manna on them to eat and given them of the bread of heaven. Men ate angels’ food, He sent them food to the full.”
Living by faith is living knowing who God is, not questioning who He is. Will He provide? Will He answer? What has He already done? Will we trust Him or will we test Him? He knows our hearts. How many signs has He shown us and yet we still question if He can supply the next need? He deserves our faith, not our contempt!
Let’s spend this day remembering His faithful actions in our lives and those we love.
Prayer: Abba Father, forgive my unbelief and my questioning. May my faith grow to please you! Please keep my sin before me and never let my heart deceive me. O Lord, may I never doubt or question You again. May my only question be, why would I ever doubt You?
Confession: Thank you for Father for everything You do and have done for me, I believe in You! I trust in Your salvation! I will live by faith.
