Will He Find Faith?

Numbers 14: 1- 3 “And the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried; and the people wept that night. And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron; the whole congregation said, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt or would God we had died in this wilderness. And where has the Lord brought us into this land, to fall by the sword that our wives and our children should be a prey? Were it not better for us to return into Egypt?”

How many times do we think something like this when things get tough?  God’s response was: Numbers 14:11 “How long will this people provoke me and how long will it be till they believe me for all the signs which I showed among them?”

God is so very faithful and I know each of us have seen His wonders in varying degrees. Our job is to believe Him.

John 15:7 “If you abide in me and my Words abide in you, you shall ask (call for) what you will (desire) And it shall be done (come to pass).”

God’s question to us comes from Luke 18: 3-8 There was a widow in that city and she kept coming to him and saying, ‘Give me justice from my adversary.’ For a time he would not, but later he said to himself, ‘Even though I do not fear God nor respect man, yet because this widow continues to bother me, I will give her justice; otherwise by continually coming she will wear me out.’” Then the Lord said,“Listen to what the unjust judge says! And will not God defend His elect who cry out to Him day and night?  Will He delay on their behalf? I tell you that He will defend them quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?”

Prayer: Father, forgive me. I have doubted you.

Confession: I abide in You and Your Words abide in me I shall ask what I desire and it shall be done for me! You will find a persistent kind of faith in my heart on the earth!
