Purify My Heart Testimony
When I first heard the song below, it did something deep within my heart. For some reason I couldn’t let go of these words. I had always loved the scripture, Matthew 5:8 “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.”
This always seemed unattainable to me. However, His Word tells us it is surely possible. I sang this song on my honeymoon overlooking a ridge by the ocean in Hawaii where new construction was beginning. Because of God’s goodness, He brought me back to the same location when we revisited Hawaii for our 25th wedding anniversary as we stayed in the completed hotel! What an overwhelming blessing! God sees each of us and daily desires to load us with benefits like this!
Let us spend some time singing or reading this song today as we prepare for 5780 to be everything He created it to be. He wants us to receive every blessing. In fact, He wants His blessings to overtake us!
