Did You Know God Created a Calendar?

https://a.co/d/hHZzjEm

He wants us to live in cycles of blessings. The enemy comes in order to steal and kill and destroy. God sent His Son that you may have life, and have it in abundance, to the full, till it overflows.

Did you realize the Jewish Calendar is the actual calendar God designed for all of His children? His calendar design deserves our attention. We created this daily devotional to align you with His calendar. We hope to convince you of His goodness and His divine cycles of blessing.

If you being evil, sinful by nature as you are know how to give good and advantageous gifts to your children how much more will your Father who is in Heaven perfect as He is give what is good and advantageous to those who keep on asking Him. Double blessings are released as you learn to meet with God enjoying His times and seasons, as well as, spending time with Him in devotion and worship daily to remember HIs goodness!

You may have a hard time believing this, but the Jewish calendar is really just God’s calendar and was created for all of His children to follow.

As a homeschool mom, and lover of Christ we loved learning about Jesus and everything about His life, His following of God’s calendar, and even His early beginnings. When we realized Jesus celebrated all the feasts with His family, and later after He grew up, and that each feasts points us directly to Him, we were astounded. It brought us on a path we had to follow.

God created the calendar to remind us of His Son, and bring us from glory to glory. God wants us to pray for Israel as they celebrate these times to see His Son revealed in each one. It is clear, His calendar is a gift to each of His children and it is an honor to follow Him in every area of our lives.

Homeschooling

You can do it!

Homeschooling is a great benefit to your children and to yourself! As a mom of 11 children who was blessed to homeschool 10 at one time, I can testify you are the best teacher for your children. No one cares more about their education then you. Realize you are fully equipped to do this. Decide to plunge into this adventure wholeheartedly, the rewards outweigh all the work and sacrifice. Decide to enjoy this journey. Make each homeschooling day a day of adventure and joy for you and your children!

What do I need to get started? First and formost as a Christian, pray and ask God for His wisdom and leadership. If you are not a Christian I will be praying for you! The Creator of all things desires to help you create the best homeschooling situation for you and your family!

Step 2: Choose a curriculum best for you and your children:

Christianbook.com has a wealth of information and resources. My favorite was Christian Liberty because they incorporate a variety of the best homeschoolong curriculum into one easy to use site.

Step 3:

Purchase a good teacher’s Lesson Plan book The one I love can be found at https://www.milestonebooks.com/item/1-19081/?list=Teacher_Helps

Step 4:

Join HSLDA! They can connect you with homeschooling groups within your state, connect you to curriculum book fairs, and provide help every step of your path.

This is an excerpt from their website, “We believe every child is unique. That children should learn in ways that meet their needs. And that you want the best for your child. Homeschooling gives you the freedom to personalize their education so they can realize their

HSLDA passionately advocates for the freedom to homeschool and offers support for every stage of your homeschool journey.”

Step 5: Read over the curriculum and familiarize yourself with the books in a gerneral way. You do not need to read every book. Remember this is a learning experience for the whold family. What you have forgotten from schooling days you will become refreshed together as you study with your kids and you will learn new things together.enjoy the journey!

Step 6: Decide what you must do weekly to complete your curriculum in your chosen time frame. Some school all year with a month off, others follow traditional school time with a 2 or 3 month break. The good news is you can create your own timetable based on your family’s schedules. When our childlren were yourner on beautiful days, we would head to the park after breakfast and enloy an hour or more of playing, and head home for a relazing day of learning. You are not only the best teacher, but the best coordinator for your family. You know what works best like no one else ever could!

Step 7: Purchse the lesson planner, notebooks, pencils, pens, paper, craft or experiment supplies you will need on a weekly or monthly basis; whichever suits you the most.

Step 8: Write the lessons for the week in your child’s lesson planner. Give each of them daily assignments. Expect them to begin work each morning and plan a time to meet with them to go over, teach, and correct. Depending on ages of children and/or lesson for the day; you will know whether to meet first or later after they have completed their assignment. Younger children may need to sit at a table with you throughout the time pf school to receove ongoing assistance; while older children can read and answer questons in some subjects then meet later for teaching and exams, etc.

Step 9: Be flexible! Though you do want to set and establish a good routine; however, be pliable when it calls for a bit of flexibility. Homeschooling is so chock full of edcational value and lack of wasted time you will easily obtain your goals if you remain consistent. Allow for visits to grandma’s or field trips that can enhance your homeschooling days.

Step 10: Be thankful you were able to spend your children’s best days together! Time goes too fast. That time with them is a treasure. You are bulding so much more then a school, your are building bridges to their future and to yours. It is worth it all!

Deuteronomy 6:5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. 6 And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. 8 You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 9 You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
