Reigning In Life Through Christ

The ten days after the Feast of Trumpets are called the “Days of Awe” and this is a great time to learn about reigning in life through Christ Jesus. I believe one of the coolest things about God is His mercy. He is always giving us a new beginning. Lamentations 3:22-23 “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassion fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”

Take these 10 days to draw closer to God. Not only do we get a new beginning, but we also get 10 days to prepare to enter into the fullness of this new beginning. Let’s begin by remembering who we are.

In the book of Esther we read about her preparation to wear her crown. This period was called “days of purification”. In God’s calendar He provides a time to purify ourselves as we enter into the promised blessings of this fresh New Year. Prepare to receive, straighten, or enhance your very own crown! By Faith in Him, we get to wear a crown, which makes us royalty so we start reigning in life as Christians! Can we truly access this and act accordingly? We must let it sink in, God has given us a crown.

Basically this means that we cannot settle for a small measure of faith because we will not be able to walk out the truth of this portion of our identity. It takes more than “little faith” to take dominion over our circumstances and to do the works of God’s hands. The Lord has big shoes for us to step into.

We, the Church, are supposed to be pushing back all of the darkness that we encounter. Many of us do not get there even though our crown signifies our ruling and authority. We must rule as Kings and Queens over all the power of the enemy.

Let us ask this question: What would make us good Kings/Rulers? Those who sit back passively seeking their own pleasure? Or those who take action, attempting to right the wrongs that are present? Are we willing to step into His Kingly calling? I know we are equipped and able!

Reigning  in Life Scriptures

Romans 5:17 “For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.”

Hebrews 2:6-7 “But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him or the son of man that thou visit him? Thou made him a little lower than the angels; thou crowned him with glory and honor, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:”

Prayer: Thank you for Your mercy. Father, as I purify and prepare for more of You and Your fullness; help me to grow in wisdom about the crown I am supposed to be wearing as Your child and the authority I have through Yeshua’s sacrifice and victory. May my faith rise! Help me to step into my Kingly calling!

Confession:  I am reigning in life through Christ. He has crowned me with glory!
